We are looking to hire for the position of "Maintenance Engineer"

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: MAINTENANCE
Work Standard: Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by monitoring and performing planned and preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis. Ensure to follow Conditioned Based Maintenance (CBM).

Responsibility 2: PLANNING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Work Standard: Designing and implementing preventive maintenance system as per Computerized Maintenance Management System. Fault finding/problem solving of equipment and machine break down. Plans to execute and implement all engineering

projects.Responsibility 3: COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION
Work Standard: Liaise with suppliers for spares and subcontractors for outsourced jobs. Ensure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable UAE federal laws or local codes and company regulations and requirements.

Responsibility 4: PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Work Standard: Trains technician and technical associates, assign jobs as per skills, monitors the performance of the team through KPI System and ensures cost-effective optimization practices are adhered to, creates Continuous Improvement culture, and implements KAIZEN among staff. As a subject matter expert, he should be able to suggest improvements for repeated issues and he should be able to understand the technical drawing (mechanical & electrical). He should have knowledge of KAIZEN concepts and should be able to implement the
same.

Responsibility 5: SAFETY AND WORKING CONDITION
Work Standard: Ensure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal or local codes, regulations, and requirements. 

Education Qualification:
Degree in Engineering Mechanical / Electrical

Job Requirements:
Should have a Minimum of 8-10 years experience in maintenance of IMA or similar Packaging Machines and 4-5 years of experience in FMCG. Should have experience in the High-Speed FMCG/Automobile Assembly/Electronics industry in the Production/Packaging plant.

Certifications Needed:
Preferably with 60% Mechanical and 40% Electrical experience. Should be able to understand electro-mechanical aspects of the machine. Capacity to understand a wide range of engineering Processes and procedures. Should be able to Read and Refer to Machine drawings and Diagrams. Knowledge of Tea Bag Production Machinery. Knowledge of IMA Teabag and heat seal Envelope machines.
